Boudoir Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve gathered some of the most frequently asked questions about boudoir and provided some helpful information. If you have a question that you don’t see here, please feel free to contact us.
Will there be anyone else present besides the photographer (Tamara) at my session?
It will be just us. I want you to be completely comfortable. Of course if you like, you can bring your female best friend, for support. They can always hold a reflector or help floof your hair! But don’t worry, I will still be the only one posing you and helping you look your best.
Will you edit my photos?
Yes. I will narrow the shoot down to the best 55- 65 images from your shoot and fully edit/ retouch them. These are the images you will choose from when you come in to place your order for an album, digitals, or wall art. I remove blemishes, wrinkles, and do light body contouring for those areas you may not love. I still want you to look like you though.
Do I have to pose nude?
Absolutely not. Everyone’s comfort level is different. Wear what you feel the best in.
I don’t want my photos to be seen by anyone online, will you put them on your website?
No. Your privacy is my #1 concern. I do in-person viewings so your images are not even stored online. The only times clients are featured on my website are when they have given me written consent to share their images.
Do I need to bring my own outfits or do you provide them?
Outfits are provided! There is no need for you to stress about what to wear. Our studio closet is extensive with lots of great brands and has lingerie in sizes Small through 4x, heels sizes 6 through 11, accessories, and jewelry. All you will need to bring are some undies to go under the studio outfits for sanitary reasons.
Do I need to get my hair and makeup done?
Yes! Professional hair and makeup is included in every shoot at Paskey Boudoir to ensure you look your best. Styling for everyday wear is different from what we need in a photoshoot. My hair and makeup girls are licensed cosmetologists and know how to make you look gorgeous. Plus, your time in the makeup chair will allow you to relax before you get in front of the camera. We have all shades of foundation and beautiful false lashes to make your eyes pop.
How much do the photos cost?
Fill out the contact form and I can send you a full price list with photos of the albums, flash drives, and wall art I offer. My session fee is $350 plus tax, my albums start at $1200, and digitals start at $800. Our clients normally spend between $1500 and $3500 on their photos.
How do I book a session?
Fill out our contact form or call 972-863-2203. When you’re ready to book, I can take your credit card over the phone.
Your session fee serves as the non-refundable retainer due to book the shoot. $350 covers 3 outfit changes and hair and makeup styling. Nothing else will be due the day of your session so you can focus on having a great time. Then a few days after your shoot you will come back to view your amazing photos and pick out your favorites to go in an album, digital form, or wall art.
